A nagging curiosity about law and social justice, as well as their application to everyday life, eventually led me to pursue a legal career. I have since been fortunate to have had a diverse and challenging litigation practice. I have appeared before the Tax Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Civil). I have also engaged in several private Arbitrations with respect to Insurance Law matters, and participated in various human rights law, administrative law and civil litigation matters. In addition to my legal practice, I actively assist with Keel Cottrelle’s Student Program and contribute to writing for the firm’s newsletters.
Prior to attending law school, I was a secondary school teacher with the Peel Board of Education, where I enjoyed teaching general science and biology. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with loved ones. I enjoy most things that deal with song and dance, and will always be a musician at heart.
