Although Keel Cottrelle’s lawyers appreciate the value of alternative dispute resolution methods in certain circumstances, they also recognize that other matters require a full hearing before a court. Our lawyers are strong advocates and members of the litigation team have appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario and Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The lawyers at Keel Cottrelle LLP have extensive training and practical experience using ADR mechanisms to resolve disputes.
When clients participate in negotiation, mediation or arbitration, they have a much greater degree of control over the resolution and are therefore far more likely to be satisfied with the result. In addition, using ADR methods is more economical in terms of cost and time, and is particularly useful where the relationship between the parties is ongoing.
